Turbofan Calculator

Below is an interactive calculator for a one-dimensional turbofan, based on the derivations in Mechanics and Thermodynamics of Propulsion that I put together for the MAE6229 Propulsion course I was teaching at the George Washington University during the Spring’14 semester. Simply change any of the parameters and watch the results and plots change. As noted below, some of the parameters are hard coded to correspond to a homework assignment. You may want to download and edit the source turbofan.html code.

It’s there on the page. Does it not load for you? What browser are you using?

Thank you very much, it was very much helpful for my project. I had to design a turbofan model in MATLAB. Your calculator helped my check my simulation results… Thanks a lot
